If you are a first time diver or a novice diver looking to get their feet wet in the incredible waters of the Pacific Ocean, then our Scuba Diving for Beginners packages are for you. This includes either a one day option for novices looking for some quick practise dives and a refresher or a comprehensive two day option for those who want to learn in the practise pool and shallow shores before heading out to the ocean. Once you are competent with your diving, your instructors will take you out to two beautiful diving spots off the coast of Guanacaste to see a wide selection of Sealife and under water topography. See an underwater world only few travellers get to witness on this remarkable diving tour in Tamarindo!

Option One: One Day Diving Tour (Novice Divers)

This package is designed specifically for novice and infrequent divers (no certification required) who have dived before, but are not confident divers or could use with a quick refresher. With this option, you will meet your navigator on the boat to begin your theory session enroute to your first practise dive spot. Upon arrival, your instructors will equip you with your gear and join you in shallow waters where you will have the opportunity practise dive in the sea and get comfortable with the scuba equipment. Once you are feeling more confident, your group will head out to the Catalina Islands (or Cabo Velas depending on conditions) to enjoy two excellent dives at one of the most popular scuba diving locations in Costa Rica. Enjoy the spectacular underwater archipelago which attracts an abundance of fish species, turtles, eagle rays, and more. If you’re lucky, you may even see a giant Whale Shark or majestic Manta Ray gliding by.

Option Two: Two Day Diving Tour (First-time Divers)

For those who have never dived before or feel nervous about ocean diving, then this is the package for you! On day one, you will meet your instructors at the dive shop where you will be given a complete tutorial and orientation of all the gear and equipment. During the afternoon, you will be fitted with your tanks and wetsuits for your practise dives in the pool, where you will learn about underwater breathing and diving at depths. The following day, you will meet your instructors in the morning to start your theory sessions on the boat and head to your first dive spots in shallow waters. Once you have tried your hand at ocean diving and are feeling confident, you will head straight for the Catalina Islands (or Cabo Velas depending on conditions) to experience two truly spectacular dives in one of the most popular diving locations in all of Costa Rica. See a vast expanse in this under water archipelago where on any given day you may see an abundance of fish species, turtles, eagle rays, and even the beautiful whale sharks and manta rays which occasionally visit this area.

With your dives complete, you will return to shore where your activity will conclude.
