If you’re looking for a fun nature activity in the Tamarindo area, then look no further! Join us on this two hour long popular boat tour through the estuaries of Las Baulas National Park just off the coastline of Tamarindo beach. Travel through the mangroves of this national park while keeping your eyes peeled for some of the many native inhabitants including crocodiles, monkeys, birds, iguanas and much more.

Meet your guides close to the mouth of the estuary along Tamarindo’s beach where your boat will be waiting. As soon as you have a quick safety briefing, your boat will launch off the beach and slowly glide along the estuary into the depths of Las Baulas National Park. Snake your way through narrow cannels and winding mangroves while birds soar above and fish jump through the water. Keep your eyes on the mangrove canopy where monkeys and iguanas are a common sight. If you’re lucky, you may even see crocodiles along the banks of the river and Howler Monkeys swing through the tree, so named for their incredible howls that can be heard from miles away. Your guide will make periodic stops to enjoy some of the wildlife on offer as well as point out some our the native flora, including the famous Guanacaste trees.

Afterwards, your boat will arrive back at the meeting point where your tour will conclude.
