Discover the rich and diverse wildlife that call Manuel Antonio National Park home. On this three hour small group tour, your trained guide will transport you through the primary and secondary forest trails of this nature reserve whilst making regular stops to point out a variety of animals – many of which are invisible to the naked eye! Learn all about each unique species that you come across as well as the natural history of the forest. On any given day you can encounter sloths, monkeys, toucans, deer, iguanas, lizards, snakes, frogs, hummingbirds, and a countless variety of insects including butterflies, crickets, and more. To really appreciate these animals, your guide will bring a professional telescope which will allow you to see these animals like they’re up close and capture that perfect photo on you camera. Hotel pick up and drop off can also be provided (optional extra), but Manuel Antonio comes with an excellent beach so be sure to bring your swimwear for a dip in the warm waters right after your Manuel Antonio wildlife tour.

Pick up and drop off from your hotel in Manuel Antonio/Quepos is also available for an additional fee. Please select the option upon booking if required. Please note this is a small group tour with a maximum of ten people.

Children prices are between the age of 4 and 8 years of age. Children younger then 4 are viewed as infants are free of charge.

Please note that this tour is not apart of our instant confirmation guarantee due to a number of factors outside of the operators control (park access, weather, etc). We ask for at least 24 hours to confirm this tour with our operator before sending through the booking confirmation. In the case that this tour is not available, we will offer an alternative date or tour.

Meet your guide at the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park with the rest of your group. Once you are cleared through the entrance, your group will be guided through the primary and secondary forest of Manuel Antonio with multiple stops for wildlife viewing via a viewing scope. This will allow you to see animals you would most likely miss otherwise and get some excellent photos through the telescope. Your guide/interpreter will teach you all about the many species of animals you find as well as the natural history of this nature reserve.

11.30 AM / 4.30 PM

Your tour will conclude after a few hours, where you will be provided some water and snacks. From here you can either head back to your accommodation (if option is selected) or stay to enjoy some of Manuel Antonio’s pristine beaches.
