If it’s lush rainforests, iconic animals, and pristine beaches that you’re after, then we have the perfect tour for you! From San José, we head south through the scenic pacific coast to visit the famous Manuel Antonio National Park which holds an abundance of wildlife, hiking trails, incredible beaches and dense tropical rainforest. Join our Manuel Antonio tour from San Jose and see for yourself the natural wonders of one of our most famous parks!

Your tour begins from your accommodation in San Jose where your guide will transport you west and then south along the pacific coast. See some of the townships that are nestled down this coastline as well as the extensive African palm plantations on your way to Quepos. Along the way, a stop will be made so that you can enjoy a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast along with a stop at the famous crocodile bridge over the Tarcoles River, where you’ll be able to view American Crocodiles – some as big as 6 metres (18 ft) long!

Soon we will arrive at Quepos and then the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park. Manuel Antonio is one of the most famous and popular national parks in Costa Rica, enjoyed by both locals and tourists alike. Here you will find untamed beauty like no other as Manuel Antonio holds some of the most diverse wildlife, remarkable hiking trails, and some of the most pristine beaches in the world! This is all thanks to the constant work of the park rangers to preserve the national park and to protect the large range of flora and fauna within.

Upon arrival you will walk the short distance to the park and from here it’s up to you how you would like to spend your time. You can make your way to one of Manuel Antonio’s spectacular beaches to enjoy the warm waters of the tropical pacific or hike one of the many trails in the national park, some of which such as the trail to Cathedral Point affords some truly excellent views! If it’s animals you would like to see though then why not join one of the guides at the park (optional extra) who will transport you from the start of the park to the beach end looking out for animals along the way with his or her telescope. On any given day, you may just be lucky enough to see sloths, monkeys, toucans, iguanas, frogs, hummingbirds, and a large variety of insects.

Can’t say thank you enough! Everything about the trip wouldn’t have been as fantastic without the help of Jose. He even found locals to help set up a sunset dinner and fire on the beach! 10/10!
