Discover the unique wildlife that come out at night on this Manuel Antonio night tour. Join your specialised guide on a close to three hour tour through the biodiverse jungles of Rainmaker Park and see the animals that are most active in the first few hours of the evening. On any given night, you may be treated to sloths, basilisks, toads, owls, snakes, bats, insects and so much more. The night is also some the best times to see countless frog species which are usually asleep during the day but are now actively feeding and searching for a mate. Rainmaker Park is an excellent place to see the famous Red-eye Tree Frog which has become an icon of Costa Rica. If you’re extremely lucky, you may even stumble upon the rare Costa Rican Variable Harlequin Toad – once considered extinct until they were rediscovered in Rainmaker Park in 2003. Special equipment and torches will allow you to see these animals with crystal clarity and, with any luck, give you the opportunity to capture that perfect photo! This tour also includes hotel pick ups and drop offs so no need to worry about transportation! You will also be treated to a typical Costa Rican dinner and drinks after your walk is complete!
