Experience a nature retreat like never before on this three hour mangrove boat cruise to Damas Island. Based just 25 minutes from Quepos, Paquita River is one of the most impressive and biodiverse estuaries found in Costa Rica. Like much of this corner of country it is abundant in native flora and fauna. This unique mangrove plays host to a variety of animals including capuchin & howler monkeys, silky anteaters, boas, iguanas, crocodiles, turtles, crabs, and more birds than you can name! Your tour will begin at your accommodation, where you will be picked up in a comfortable coach and transported to the Paquita River. Board your river boat for a full two hour exploration of this incredible mangrove ecosystem, complete with incredible jungle river channels and plentiful wildlife. Upon return, you can enjoy a delicious Costa Rican lunch at a typical local restaurant, all before heading back to your accommodation where your tour will conclude.
